B.A UNITED FC SIGNS FORMER BEREKUM CHELSEA FORWARD

Former Berekum Chelsea forward Ibrahim Issaka has joined B.A United Fc in the ongoing transfer window.

The marksman put to paper a three – year deal with the Sunyani based team.

The former CS Don Bosco midfielder netted an impressive 50 strikes in 54 appearances for the Congolese side.

He has scored 32 goals in as many games.

B.A UNITED FC MANAGEMENT TO FLY ABROAD FOR TRAINING

B.A United has teamed up with some foreign clubs in order to provide its staff with management development.

Following a major internal restructure, the team identified a requirement to upskill its new and existing team members with training in effective club management techniques.

Rahamat Mustapha Riga, who is the President of the club says; he conducted a gap analysis in order to pinpoint where the shortfalls were.

He then partnered with former teams like Sparta Rotterdam, Vitesse Arnhem, to devise a specially tailored management development programme.

“Running from May until August 2018, the programme will cover performance management, emotional intelligence and maximizing your teams potential and others.” Riga said.

Riga added: “We want to focus on ensuring we have a robust management model in place so that our people are properly supported and our fans remain satisfied. ”

The management team will also have the chance to tour around the various teams clubhouse.

B/A UNITED FC UNVEILS NEW SUPPORTERS ID CARD.

Brong Ahafo United FC has outdoored a new supporters identification card, with the promise to launch its massive registration in the coming days.

At a news briefing in Sunyani Thursday, B.A United FC President, Rahamat Mustapha Riga said the club is prepared to embark on the exercise, projected to formalise supporters.

“The club is ready to provide supporters with a modern robust identification system and a smart ID card that will meet the modern aspirations of the supporters of B.A United FC”, he said.

The new ID card is expected to have a lifespan of one year after which it will be renewable at a fee.

He scored a total of 12 goals in 15 division 2 games in the just ended season and was the target of Clubs like Young Apostles and Glory Stars. He scored 2 goals for Glory stars yesterday in their friendly game.

Military personnel to provide security at Zone One matches

The Division One Board wishes to inform Clubs and all stakeholders in Zone One that in view of the unfortunate incidents that have occurred at various League centers in the ongoing season, the board shall deploy military personnel to provide security at some high profile matches from Match day Twenty-six (26).

All Division One clubs in Zone One are hereby requested to cooperate with the military personnel deployed to their respective venues to ensure peace and security during matches for the final stretch of the league.

Meanwhile, the DOLB will hold an all Stakeholders meeting with clubs and security officials on Thursday 17th August, 2017 to discuss best measures to curb the recurring acts of violence at venues in the zone.

Next Thursday’s meeting will be held at the Sunyani Coronation Park at 11:00am.
